When is Valve going to put up a HL2 website???

Why hasn't Valve put up a HalfLife 2 site that is worth
a flip. You would figure with all the hype they would have
had a website up for HL2.

I bet the site is already finished and just waiting to be uploaded. The reason they haven't yet (I really hope ) it because all of the silence around the whole game.

Is it me or did the original Half-Life not have an official website? I think Sierra's site had a small mini-section for it...but nothing extensive.
