When the game comes out, I think we need a sticky telling people not to post spoilers

I've realised lately that I had some surprises in Half-Life ruined by reading magazine reviews.

I'm so weak though, I'll probably read every spoiler post and every review when Half-Life 2 comes out.

Maybe make a spoilers/SP game discussion thread, if only for a short time. That way it'd keep spoilers seperate (hopefully).

Don't know the capabilities of vB, but could you do stuff like get it to search the post when a user submits and automatically move it if it contains certain words. True some would have to be moved back, but not as much as would be moved correctly.

Just my 2 cents.

Ahnteis, users who will do such things are only trying to prove that they've got the game, thus making their penises grow larger in size. You can expect about 2 or 3 dozen screenshot threads, around 50 opiniated threads on the first day, etc...

I'm not so sure I want to come back here once I have the game, I'd rather spend my free time playing the actual game instead of discussing it with the mental cases that roam freely around here.

Oh and expect a batchload of trolls to pop out of the blue.

Heres an idea, a forum I visit (not this one) has a thing called spoiler tags. When you want something to write thats a spoiler, you can cover the writing over with a large red box or green or whatever. Just highlight it to see what it says inside. I think this is a very good idea to implement into the system, but there is always someone who will post the spoilers...

A new board is created for spoilers only. Any numptys who post in general discussion get their thread moved.

We'll be playing SP but we do have a commitment to the hl2.net forum community to make sure this place doesn't fall apart.
