Where did the bots go?

I just installed steam and now when I play CS I no longer seem to have an option to play with bots.

Are the bots gone or am I missing something?

Thats what i want to know, i rarely played without them. With me and two other friends playing on a lan at school, it was very nice to be able to populate the map with bots. Hope they stick them back in at some point.

hmmm, I suppose one could always install PodBot and use that for bots :x

Why would you want to play with bots anyway? they cheat, they've got all some sorts of aimbots and wallhacks...

Doesn't CZ feature MP bots? Maybe they got rid of them in CS 1.6 because it's now public and they wanted CZ to seem more tempting.

the bots in cs 1.6 were WAAAY better than podbot, realbot, androidbot, etc,etc. they didnt really cheat, like podbots did.

I think they removed them because they acted as loopholes for cheats. You could run a bot program and the server would think it was sending signals to the bot but it was actually your character's aimbot.

If they really worked for cheating like that, I hope they can fix that and add the bots back.. I loved the bots

Well I hope they release them seperatley so you can play with them.

I hope they bring back the bots too....because I still, forwhatever the reason, cannot see any CS servers...

Not on Steam, or Game Spy Arcade.


Hope the bots will make a return.
