Obviously I'm extremely jealous of Americans ... they get newegg, which from what I hear is Jesus reincarnated as an online shop. For the UK crowd, where do you get your parts from?

I did what may have been the slightly stupid move of checking out user reviews of websites. As such, I've now talked myself out of ordering from pretty much anyone due to the scare stories. I was going to order from ebuyer.com. Recommendations would be appreciated, please.

BT bought dabs, and I hate BT for giving me so many problems being my isp. So although dabs is good...I can't bare to look at it.

I generally use Scan and Overclockers. Pretty much everything i've bought has been from one of the two.

Isn't there a sticky specifically for this?

Scan and ebuyer. Overclockers hasn't got a good record with customer service.

Been buying things from eBuyer since 2001/2, never had a problem with them.

I've also bought from Overclockers although only on one occasion. Used a few others like AUTDirect for older components and Stak Trading as they are local to where I live.
