I thought it'd be interesting to find out where all you slightly older HL2 fans stand behind counters and whatnot. Feel free to say why you hate doing it so much.

Me, I just got a new job standing behind a cash register at Brookshire's . It's a local grocery store around Texas. I don't hate it yet, but I'm patiently waiting for someone to argue and call a manager on me because they don't understand the fine print limit on every single one of our coupons.

You only play jazz? :(
I'm not sure how up-to-date that website is. I've never been there myself. But here's a general outline of what we play:

WBRH: Weekdays, 12 AM - 5 PM, "Smooth Jazz" (Kenny G and crap of that sort). Weekdays, 5 PM - 12 AM, "Mainstream Jazz" (good jazz). Saturday is "Rhythm and Blues Saturday", and we have a bunch of different shows that play all sorts of blues, motown, old country, even zydeco! Sunday is "Classic Jazz Sunday", and you can probably guess what that's all about.

KBRH: Monday - Thursday, we play blues (popular and local), motown, soul, and classic R&B. Friday is "All-Blues Friday". On Saturday KBRH and WBRH simulcast until around 12 PM, when I put the Metropolitan Opera on. Sundays, there are a bunch of different shows that play blues and a reggae show.

So, no, we don't play only jazz.

Nothing wrong with Jazz though. I'd love to work in radio, cuz i got such an ugly mug :)
I dont work at the moment, need a job though. I'm well skint.

I'm an intern at the IRS. Think "Office Space".

It's really not that bad, I wouldn't mind doing it full-time. :)

I'm a data entry person, at MRI The Everhart Group. We recruit for pharmaceutical companies, etc.

I write software and I dba for a telecommunications company in Akron, OH. I like what I do, but I don't like where I do it.

You do Magnetic Resonance Imaging? That stuff is great.

Me, I'm a soon to be graduate student, looking for jobs.
Job hunting is the most demoralising thing ever :(

You'll find something mate. Everyone does. :)

And remember what seems like a mediocre job can easily turn into a fantastic one. I know this because I have a 19 year old friend who worked his way up the job ladder and now owns a BMW M3 and several other very nice car. He aims to retire at the age of 30.

Dont you just hate him. :p jk

EDIT: As for me, still studying (Sixth form for those of you who know what that is.) I'm 18 years old. :)
