Hello Kitty Island Adventure.

In my defense, my suggestion is about as original as your thread.

Metal Gear Solid 4. But be ready to sit through agonising cutscenes between the brilliant gameplay sections.

MGS4 from that bunch, but if given more choice I'd recommend LittleBigPlanet. You're gonna have fun with it more and for longer, especially if you have people to play it with. There's few things in my life that make me happier than playing LBP with a friend. Though if it's not your thing you can't go wrong with MGS4, a masterpiece in my eyes. If you're a fan of the series especially, it will be a near religious experience for you.

Little Big Planet, but since that's not an option, MGS4.

Only play MGS4 if you've played the other games and know the story.

If you haven't then I recommend either Uncharted or Little Big Planet.

You'll only enjoy MGS4 if you're into an MGS style game (lots of movies, no real stealth) but if I had to pick something else I'd say Uncharted or Little Big Planet

You should buy an Xbox 360 if you really want a console that much.

From the list I'd say Uncharted. Not from the list I'd say Resistance.

Wow, 12 posts in. I overestimate this forum, I thought we'd see one by 3 or 4 at least.

Uncharted. The commercials/previews interest me, never actually played it though.

I'd go for MGS4. Uncharted is good fun, but also gets rather samey towards the end. It's still well worth picking up - think Tomb Raider meets GoW and not quite gelling, while still having plenty of cool moments - but not in favour of Metal Gear, which actually makes stealth fun (a rare thing). Don't worry about the story and just enjoy the crazyness of it all. MGS4 is wonderfully weird, epic and will keep you busy for weeks/months if you're prepared to experiment and learn all the moves/levels.

Get lbp if you have some friends to play the game with regularly and/or if you love creating you're content. Otherwise there's better choices.

Sell your PS3 kiddybox thingy and invest in a PC upgrade - you know it makes sense! ROLL WITH THE BIG BOYS MOFO!

Yes, because the big boys love yearly upgrades and shitty console ports.

LittleBigPlanet.

I don't have a PS3. PS3 sucks and I hope Sony burns in hell even though that means I'll never get to play LittleBigPlanet.

After playing LBP for a few days, I can say that it's overrated

Nothing like a game that is all about user-made content, so you spend a long time sifting through shitty maps to get one good one.

Then make your own.
