Who ever makes me the best logo wins free copy of HL2: EP2

I don't know... the raised fist always seemed really stereotypical to me. (Also, Fisting has negative connotations where I live. :p)
 
It would be far easier to think of a logo if you had a decent name, like Christ on a Motorbike, or Grandma Stalin.

In fact, I shall draw you some pictures of Jesus riding motorbikes and Stalin as a grandma to illustrate (ho ho) my point.
 
I've been in a bit of a creative mood today, so I had to give it a shot. :)

What is it with everyone and using the raised fist? Did I miss some sort of fist requirement?

Also, it seems a small percentage of people are actually making logos. For example, my band is called Torpid- our logo is this:

The red hot chili peppers have this logo:

Do you guys get it better now? It's just a small picture, or even just the band name in a cool font. It doesn't have to be some big multilayered piece of art.

You actually use a pixelated ms paint hand drawing for your logo?

And the hand thing is from Red Faction. Apparently people think they can steal the logo.

I may come up with another soon.
 
No, I didn't, that's still what it looks like, just we won't use that particular copy of it :/
 
The only reason mine was so big is because that was the size I made it in. It still looks like a logo to me at least. Shrink it down - tada!

As for the fist (which I didn't just cut and paste ;)), I guess while looking through the thread it got stuck in my head at some point.

I decided to remove the tracks but since I (stupidly) hadn't used another layer for them had to erase them by hand and I got impatient, so it's a bit sloppy.

Blood on the bomb can easily be removed, I wasn't 100% sure about that.
 
Bah! You guys and your kickass photoshop skills. You are using photoshop right? And a tablet?

If you're not then I have no excuse.
 
No tablet and GIMP.

I kinda want Photoshop, but I'd hate to relearn a whole new layout. And the price, although with internets that's never usually a problem...
 
Colors and shadowing and font can be changed very easy if you like this but want some changing.

I would have done some stuff for free. The free game is just icing on teh proverbial cake.

Oh, and I just started a new class and learned some sweet stuff, so I may be making some new logos as practice for class, and of course, for jack blits and ren182 :D
 
I really like Simon's. Better yet there's no fist in any of them. But honestly, I don't like the bomb iteration. The tire tread one was cool. Just could've used some polishing.

Every time I see a fist I think it's a peacy, feely, angry-at-authority band with crappy music. I love the fist, but it's an abused symbol.

Kinda cool. I made it pretty much on accident when I was trying to do something else. Ended up writing Ren Fiction in fire. Unfortunately the upload got screwed up.

 
So have you guys made a prefferation list already?
 
yea wen know roughly whos won but we want to give it til the end date just incase we do get another submition
