i 'acquired' it. its a pretty good game so now im going to go actually buy it to support the developers

Bought it, beat it again and again. Wheee, its so much fun i just love it.

got it, completed in one sitting....

now gonna try and complete them other modes...

I hear there are storyline changes :)

Got it - painfully average game. Got to the last chapter and can't be bothered to finish it. 6/10 .. being generous I think :/

Got it. Beat it. I feel like ive been riped off by a cheap whore. It was good but overpriced for how long it lasted.

I had it since the 14th, I downloaded it and planned on buying it, but I wont buying it since its way to short, I finished it twice already and right now Im on DOA difficulty so I can get the 2nd ending.

BUT, this is the BEST shooter game ever, nothing can compare with it.

is mp2 really a good enough game for me to shell out the money for it? cause i really liked mp1

Max Payne and Max Payne 2 should be made into one movie. Together i beat them both in the time it took to watch Titanic :-P

you mean Titpanic surely?

i'd recommend buying Max Payne 2 as long as you know what you're paying for. don't buy if you're expecting genius on a cd.

Its good but your paying way too much for how long youll probably end up playin it, if i was you i would wait til it gets in the 20-30 buck range.

Depends on how much a fan you were of the original, I personally keep going back to some sections in MP2 just to mess around with the physics and bullet time. The physics keep it fresh, so every time played is different. Great fun.

Didn't impress me enough to finish it (got to the begining of the 3rd chapter before boredom took over ......... not sure how much of the game was left)

Fun for a night - not worth the cash (imo of course)

Got It, Played It, Completed it very fast!, Sold it on Ebay for basically what I paid for it ;)

I... erhm... got a 'demo' of the net... ;)

Its good, hell even GREAT, but I honestly dont think it is worth the cost. I finished it in about 6 hours (counting breaks, 10 hours) (in other words, a day). How much GAME is that really? Best and most definetly smoothest 3D engine I have seen, very good story and fun to play. But its over in the snap of a finger. They could have done more to the game, its dissapointing in the end. Physics doesnt help it. Take Gothic II; low poly budget, no physics, made by a unknown german company. Yet its the best RPG I have seen, and will probably continue to play it for the coming weeks. Now thats GAME. And that I did buy.

Since I'm blabbering anyway, the core problem of MP2 is difficulty. Its far to easy. And who want replay the story with more difficulty?! You already know the story!!! The entire point of the game is living the story, and you can only do that once in Max Payne. They should have gone with Halo style (best difficulty system I know of using regenerating health)... 100x more enemies to kill, but not that much harder. The game could have lasted ALOT longer. And you would have seen ALOT more funny kills (ie the point of the game). I think I got 2 or 3 slowmo kills. What's the point of that? Its exactly the same with physics, there are like 2-3 spots where its really used.
