Who is a guild member?

i joined the thieves guild, and one rule is that i cannot rob other guild members, how do i know they are memebers or not?

I probably did the same thing you did. Right after being accepted, you went into the shacks and stole stuff. Yeah. I guess there's not way to really tell.

If you talk to a member you can ask about the thieves guild. Non guild members have different dialoug options.

I read it, but the way you said didnt exactly work, so i ended up doing it my own way. the diary was not in the house, the lady for somereason carried it around with her all the time, so i had to use the imperial charm, and then pickpocket.

Which one? I spent all day yesterday doing quests for them so I'm sure I can help you out, that is, if you actually want help. It's oh so satisfying finishing these quests on your own. Hopefully the Fighter's Guild/Mages Guild/Arena/Dark Brotherhood quests can live up to the Thieves Guild.

Here is a better way to be a thief..join the dark brotherhood and rob your target after you deal with him

they are in every city, execpt the Imperial (i think) all you have to do is when your in a city, bring up your map and move over the icons until you found one of them

Yes but at later stages, a few duties seem abit guild vs guild, so can be hard to keep relations if your not covering your tracks.

Just the Blades, but I am joining the Fighter's Guild after I finished my Tour de Cyrodiil. I am currently visiting all the nine cities by really travelling there (so not using fast travel). I am doing some quests along the way. People that are into ghost mysteries should check out the innkeeper in Bravil.

Guilds are everywhere, but you can't join 'em in every city. The fighter's guild can be joined in three cities. The only one I am sure of is Anvil.

with the Mages Guild you have to travel to every city and get a recommendation.

how can i get away with a kill so i can sleep and get into the Dark Brotherhood?

It's 1 hit kills if they are sleeping, so just go around at night and get someone in their bed, also, remember to wear lighter armor, I think it helps out your sneak

You become a Blade by following the main quest. They have no Guild Halls tho.

I'm in the Dark Brotherhood. It's awesome.

I'm doing a similiar thing to Shakermaker - everytime I have to go to a city, I'll ride there myself and check out any caves / dungeons along the way.

I'm level 12 and I haven't even done the first mission yet - the one where you have to give the Amulet of kings to some random guy. Hehe. I hear you get a horse in the quest, but I *bought* mine
