Who is getting a DVD-ROM especially for HL2?

As it looks now, the European release of HL2 will be DVD-only. I still don't have a DVD-ROM, so I'm getting one for my comp. How many of you are doing the same?

I thought you were talking about a DVD player as in movies.. not to be annoying but DVD-ROM would have been a better choice.

I have a DVD-ROM and I have pre-ordered the collectors edition so me happy

I think most people now a days have a DVD-ROM. I mean if you have a computer that can play Half-Life 2 fairly well you should have one.

well i had a DVD player..now got a burner.. WIN WIN for me. And ive downlaoded it anyways..so urm.. i suppose i will need a DVD reader to read the backup i make of the GCFs

I already have one... but I've also already bought it through Steam... so I don't need one... luckily, it's also a DVD burner... so I can make my own DVD's... so I can use it...
