It's quite obvious that out of these five, Master Chief would easily own all the others.
 
Yea, after all you are posting on an essitially Gordon Freeman fan site. Still, he has a gravity gun, so he could stop all their bullets in mid air like teh matrix!!11

plus hes got a crowbar.

Mebber Gordy could grab MC with the organic grav gun and hurls him into some kind of combine portal :p
 
I don't know, Master Cheif has a helmet and could take a few crow bars to the head, other then that gordon. I don't know who like 3 of the others are so whatever.
 
All I know is that Jack Carver would be the first to go. Doesn't even have a suit or any special powers.
 
Gordon would come up with some ways to beat up people since he's a 'scientist' (note the quote marks :p)
 
Jc Denton would own them all because he would jsut go invisible enagle his anti rocket ing thing and run around and jump and fall uber fast and pwn everything!

Gordon would come second tho
 
Gordon IF he got his grav gun without it hes toast!

if not then mc easily, he jus shoots abit runs hides lets his armor heal and repeats its that simple.
 
The Doom marine, but not the wussy one from Doom 3. The hard-core one from the original Doom games. He had the best suit ever.

Although, he couldn't jump, or look up and down. Could be a disadvantage.

The answer is easy! No-one would win because they are all characters from different computer games, so they couldn't possibly meet each other to fight!

I've changed my mind.

Turrican, from the Amiga/Atari games of the same name, would absolutely smite them all. I mean, all he'd have to do is reach for 'spacebar', and a big wall of fire would spread from wherever he's at. And he has cool armour, and even better guns.

Sadly, I doubt most readers are old enough to know Turrican :(

Everyone knows the Master Chief is unbeatable. He comes out on top in every respect.

Freeman - broken-glasses MIT nerd
Marine - generic meathead
Carver - bland character; also, prevails only against enemies of poor ability
Denton - his augmentations suck
Chief - badass 26th-century warrior

Therefore, Master Chief wins. Even though he's the tallest, making him the most suceptible to groin attacks, he has about a foot of armor plating around his genitals.

Now, I don't know much about JC Denton, so I'll leave him out.

But I've discussed Master Chief vs. Gordon Freeman before, and I think Gordon would come out on top... at least Gordon from Half-Life 1, anyway.

In hand-to-hand combat, the Master Chief would destroy all the others... his suit gives him enough strength to flip a TANK! (Unless the Doom Guy has the beserk powerup.) But, MC is relatively slow in this suit, can only carry two weapons, and can only go up a ladder forwards. Compare this with Gordon Freeman who, at least in Half-Life1, ran at about 20 mph constantly, could have unlimited weapons at one time, and climb up a ladder backwards while holding a two handed weapon. Granted, Master Chief might be able to take a little more of a beating than Gordon with his ultra powerful suit and all (though compared games wise, it seems Gordon can take more), but Gordon would be long-jumping circles around him and sniping him with a crossbow in the back of the head or whacking him with a crowbar before MC could even react. ESPECIALLY if he had his Gravity Gun... I don't know what the MC would do about a radiator.

As for the Doom Guy, he's pretty damn tough, but he's pretty wimpy in Doom3 and in Doom2 he can't look up or down or jump.

As for Jack Carver, I have to hand it to him at being the only one without really cool armor. But, he dies very easilly and is only just an average dude.
 
I dont know why he isnt on your list, but if he was....

Mario would eat his "magic mushroom" and grow 5 times his normal size and stomp on them all.

Always stick with the classics.
 
Gordon. He would just yank come 1000 pound objected with is super gravity gun and launch it at everyone else. He wins.

Or, he'll just pick'em up. Or, take rockets from air and send them back. Brawl.
 
If JCDenton had the upgrade (mod? whatever...) that made him invisible, the others wouldn't be able to see him, so he could just pop them off with his sniper rifle.
 
Voted Gordon Freeman, but only because I'm assuming a few things. The actual outcome would depend on a couple variables.

Gordon would win instantly if he had the super gravity gun. He'd pick up the Doom Marine, chuck him into Jack Carver, killing both of them. He'd then proceed to pick up any heavy object he could find and drop it on top of JC Denton. As for Master Chief, he may be heavily armored, but the Mjolnir armor is weak against concussive attacks. Gordon would pick him up, and repeatedly slam him into the ground, shaking him up inside all that armor, until he turned into red goo.

If it came down to straight firepower, and Gordon didn't have his s. gravgun, the victory would go to the man with the BFG (Doom Marine). No one on this list has the firepower to stop that weapon; the only game character who would come close would be someone from UT with the Redeemer.

In a melee battle, MC would win. This would be an interesting fight:

Jack Caver and his little knife would be out of it so fast it's not even funny. He'd get a chainsaw to the back of the head, and he's down for the count. JC Denton would use his nanosword to slash through the chainsaw's blade and lop off the Doom Marine's head in one clean swipe. Nanosword does nothing against the power of the almighty crowbar, though, so Gordon puts a rather large hole in Denton's cranium, putting him down for good.

Now, while Gordon's crowbar is the most powerful melee weapon in the universe, easily beating out MC's plasma sword, MC has the advantage because he doesn't have to take any time to switch from a gun to a melee weapon; he can simply club Gordon Freeman with the butt of his rifle. Gordon wouldn't have time in a fight to switch between his SMG to the crowbar, not fast enough to stop MC's vicious pistol whip.

So that's how things would play out, depending on the variables. Note that all of this is moot, because if Gordon's involved, you know that the G-man isn't going to allow anyone to harm his "property," and will step in before anyone can lay a hand on Gordon.

G-man will erase the other competitors from space and time.

I voted Jack Carver, he would say one sentence and everyone would drop dead!

(anyone who has played farcry knows what im talking about, absolutely terrible voice acting).
