Has anyone noticed anypatterns in their country that would lead them to believe that they plan on a massive assault on some other country? I for one see that there are no such build ups, but hey im an American. I suspect that china is planning something big that will lead up to world war III, but I really have no proof. So does anyone else have such suspissions?

if communsim doesnt collapse in China sometime soon ( with its economic growth it may well collapse soon) then the U.S and China are going to come into conflict at some stage.

Although I think the EU will start it, europe has a track record of starting them.

think about it:

legitimatly elected, slightly insane, man starts to decide that everyone who doesn't think the way he thihnks is wrong (and a terrorrist) and decides to start waging war all over the world. some stupid world leaders support him cause they're economies are so inextricably linked to his that if he cuts them off they're fooked. intelligent people everywhere cry out and are baffled as to why his own people can't see he's leading them down into a real economic mess and making countries all over the world hate him.

Yeah. I don't think America is the next nazi germany, for all our faults, were are not trying to bring about the rise of the "ubermensch" while genociding a percieved "untermensch." Also we are not really interested in controlling vast areas of land, if we were, half our country wouldn't be wanting us to get the hel out of Iraq.

I frankly don't think we'll see a nazi type government take hold anywhere within our lifetimes. I'm not saying there won't be bad government movements, but not any based on the nazi model.

Where do you come from? Last I checked a war between the US and China would spark tons of other countries to both sides.

not really, the EU and Canada have trade agreements with China, so they may stay nuetral in a US vs China conflict, and many other nations dont have the resources to get involved in a war of that scale.

If america and china fight, it would become a world war.

It is not necassary for other countrie to take sides in the particulr conflict. Although ofcourse it could happen, especially if its all-out war.

But even if it was just china against america, there would be dozens more states who would let rip.

There are many countries around the world with greivances and territorial disputes etc.. with america, which is the main peace keeping force on earth overstreched and fighting a fullscale war, every little bastard would crawl from under his rock to go and do over his nigehbour.

Nations like Iran, under its crazed religious zealot leadership, given an opportunity wouldnt hesitate to have ago. South America is just about ready for meltdown, yogoslavia would disintegrate, central asia and russia would fallout, indonesia would attack Oz and Pakisan would have a nuke slinging fight with india.

Therefore then , it is not dependant that other countries take a side with one of those superpowers, they will just start thier own conflicts everywhere and once a big thing happens and a few more trickle out it would soon turn to an avalanche. The opportunity would be irresistable and with no big brother USA to control them all, they would soon break loose.

Some countries dont even need to fight each other, they are ready to self destruct themselves right now and they would completely disintegrate.

I know it sounds corney, if youll excuse the phrase, but it will be just like on the film 'team america'. This will be americas ultimate test. Global chaos, and if it fails then a new world order will come. Or world disintegration, were many places re-enter the stone age. No lights no electric, pitch black darkness, thats what i mean by stone age.

The whole tolerant equality stuff will be obliterated and global chaos will resume, dog-eat-dog returned to natures laws of survival of the fittest. Mother nature will have restored itself. Indeed manypoeple will die in the war, and countless millions more who are dependent on the sustanance by a system which props up the weak, elderly and medication dependant.

TBH i think this will all happen anyway, if things stay the same. and countries show no signs of doing anything to avoid it.

Best go buy guns, stock u on ammo. Farm beasts for a living and dig a fallout shelter just incase, and a nice bunker to hibernate in.

I think it could be possible due to the economic situation we are in.

China are not just overtaking america, but the EU , and even India. Whats more they are advancing as fast as they can deliberately to compete with the US and EU, and there is no signs of thm stopping.

Thier cheap wage regime, and cut throat industrial ideology to out perform america, may just snatch away enough jobs to either instigate social collapse in britain and elsewhere , but trigger a war against china as they try to defend thier countries, thats if they cannt find the peacefl solution, but china wont take orders from us and is pretty much totally determined.

This ofcourse would be america and britain being victims of its own globalisation as its hijacked by a ruthless newcommer , funny aint it.

The next world war will be a war like no other. There are plenty of crackheads willing to use nukes these days, just look at iran, and if iran uses them then the middle-east and india will be a soup of destruction.

The USA's technology will make them lesslikely to be hit, if the starwars system can protect it. But the rest of the world is already in a meltdown. It wont be just a world war it will be an apocalypse.

The US government is lying to its citizens and attempting to control them through fear - the very same tactic used in the cold war. The russians are coming! Run for the hills! There was no Evil Russian Empire anymore.

Through this, civil liberties are being curtailed and the SUPER SCARE TACTIC MILL has been kicked into action. This has decreased-ish recently, but I don't think things have gotten much better. Who remembers that analysis of a video, taken by two Muslims touring Disneyworld, which claimed the video was actually showing where to plant bombs. Incarceration of prisoners for up to four years without trial (there's a local campaign to Save Omar here). So much crazy shit going on.

Let's get this straight: I don't think it's all some crazy conspiracy. But I do think that certain people in the Bush Administration are using manipulative tactics to increase control. That, and they're all batshit fucking loco INSANE.

I don't think America is going to be the next Nazi Germany. I'm not even sure there has to be a 'next Nazi Germany'. Isreal might manage it, the way things are going. But again, it just seems waaay too extreme.

I find it laughable when people think the united states is going to become the next nazi germany or something. Its a rediculous notion. Sure, we may have invaded a country(iraq), but the citizens, from my viewpoint are not all filled with fear from their government, able to just be whipped into doing whatever the government wants... nor are we unified behind any enemy with an actual country to call home.

The American people as a whole are still good natured human beings, and even if they might get suckered into some small things, they're not the mindless automotons you think they are willing to go along with any evil plot that comes around.

Nor would we be oppressed into allowing the government to do so.

terrorism isnt a new phenomenan, different groups have tried to undermine and destroy nations before, it rarely works, Bush has blown it into a larger problem with the war on terror, ultimately terrorism destroys itself, we are already seeing this with the Jordanian bombings, the Islamic extremists are alienating those they are trying to recruit, it will be maybe 10 years before it is gone but, it has reached it's peak with the Sept 11th attacks unless the west do something really stupid like invade Iran
