Why do you all hate america?

There is evidence that, of 'major' nations, China (I don't know the time, it may have been before Leif Erikson or after so I don't know if they were the first 'people' besides the natives) had discovered the west coast/South Americaish areas

Why do we all hate America??

Probably because we recognise problems that are the same in our own countries (or have existed previously), we are disgruntled by this and it is easier to point out problems in others rather than ourselves.

nope ..he was a spaniard ..well there was no "spain" at the time but a collection of nation states ..one being the nation state of Catalan (still exists today and is a province in spain: Cataluna)

What do you mean Lucky?

Well anyways the point is, we Italians hold our accomplishments high. Pulling up bullshit articles just brings up unwanted grief.

cptstern, was italy part of the ottoman empire then?, or am i way out? :O

I don't hate America, no. I hate the vile bunch of pigs that live it, and the farmer who serves them up as pork.

I know that's not what he meant, but I have absolutely no idea what he did mean by 'they'.
Putting unrealistic emphasis on the inability to decypher his vague choice of words creates absurdism, or 'comedy'. :p
