Why I believe Half-Life 2 won't be delayed (by much if it is at all)

EB a month later? Dude, if its to be decrypted to play via Steam on 9/30, then it will be on store shelves on 9/30. Face the fact.

Not from what I have inferred from people's comments on this forum...
People are saying that in order to meet the proposed release date and to help publicize Steam, Valve will first release it on Steam and then they will mass produce to ship to stores...

Gabe has stated himself that they will release it BOTH via Steam AND on retail shelves ON 9/30. Search the forums, emails from him, whatever. It's their man. Im not flaming you, im just simply stating what he had said over and over again.

its cool man. It's just it's been said many times by Gabe that they will BOTH be released on 9/30. It would make no sense to release it on Steam on 9/30, then wait a month or so later and release it on store shelves.
 
to bad the 9800np isn't available...less then 200$, and a SWEET card.
