you've been weighed and measured and found wanting in your arguments, if the best you can do is promote the notion that geekiness is somehow a macho luddite pursuit then you've come to the wrong shop. It's nice to have the option to tweak things, but there shouldn't be the necessity to tweak.

Hopefully Steam will become so advanced and useful that typing in the console isn't needed, Steam have already made the console more useable when you do need it with the auto-type feature. I especially like the amount of options avaliable in the cs: source beta menu and how easy it is to change them.

Speaking of the console, it doesn't work in CS:s anymore. Neither does the scoreboard.
