hhaahahah this is great...I checked the picture and went "huh...that's look digital or atleast he brushed it up in painter or photoshop" and I was about to comment that he was full of shit but didn't because I wasn't 100% sure(I was like 97%) then went on reading and bah I was right...

I mean...blurr effects and perfectly round brush tips...come'on...

First rule of thumb if you need to rip-off ppl and lie about doing their work.

1.

Never ever use a piece from a well known concept artist - which you know will be recognized sooner or later - you little brat!

Btw its Craig mullins who made that piece, and is one of the most famous concept/digital artists in the world - that particular piece i believe is from Bungie's Marathon game

This guy is one of my personal favourites when it comes to digital art.

You sure its Craig's? I know its similar style but was convinced one of his fans had done it and showed WIP pics, I've shown it over on conceptart.org and I reckon had it been one of his they'd have spotted it immediately. Best I got was someone remembers saying it was in his style.

Though if it is one of Craig's it must be one of his very quick sketches

not that I know whats going on at this point.
but the visual evolutions guy linking to La fiesta ,is the same guy apparently.

if you browse La fiesta it lists him as Filip Korte, and credits him with the flyer design as well as linking back to Visual evolutions.

as I said, I dont know whats going on... but perhaps he did do the flyer/webdesign (as its the same guy on both sites)

as for the picture in this thread, it is glaringly obvious that it IS Digital, claiming that was stupid, as for the work itself being his.. I have never seen it before but I trust Fenric's word as it were gold. so shame on this arsenic dude.

@Scribblehead: those pictures do look incredibly familiar (same vein as the other) and also incredibly awesome, thank you for sharing. (the second one is breath-takingly cool)

Feel free to let them know. I'm giving those he ripped off a chance to comment on what should happen to him. And yes if they wish to take it further I'll happily provide all details I have on the guy.

Besides, it wouldn't hurt to get a few more pro's on this site, could get this section moving again and the art contests become more interesting, throw in decent prizes and it could be a nice useful section rather than one on the brink of me lobbying its deletion
