Will HL2 run on my Dell Inspirion 5100 Laptop?

I would like to know if my Laptop can run Half-Life 2 on it.
Her are the specs;

2.5Ghz Intel Pentium 4 processer:thumbs:
2.4Ghz ATI Mobility Radion 7500c 32Mb video card:thumbs:
30GB HDD
SigmaTel C-Major Audio Card
512MB Onboard Ram
10X DVD-Rom Drive
DirectX 9
WindowsXP Service Pack 2:thumbs:

Please let me know if it can run HL2.

It should.
It won't run very well at all, but it will run (lowest settings, maybe?)

hey bob, its seems you got TF2 running? or is that on a different PC? if it ran TF2 it should run HL2 no trouble

but as my guess is it is a different PC, it should run, but like GF911 said, not very well.

hl2 will run no problem. as well as css.

any of the new games will require hardware that can run dx8.1.

your radeon 7500 can only run dx7 which is minimum for hl2 and css.

i dont think a 32mb graphics card will run it (i could be wrong but i thought it was a 128mb minimum) and the game will probably take up a hefty portion of that 30gb hard drive so if i does run then dont put too much else on there (I find a significant decrease in performance whenever a hard drive is filled more than 75%).

i having dell inspiron 5100 but with 16mb ATI radeon 7500 graphic card. The card is directx 7 capable. Am having 1gb ram and 2.8 ghz processor.

while playing game it slows down many times. I guess it's the graphics card problem. Am using least possible video settings.

Can i get better frame rate by changing any settings
