Just saw Persuit of Happyness where he also starred. FFS Will Smith is in every single ****ing movie nowadays. Just saw the trailer for a new movie called "hancock" where hes ALSO the main character. Hes an awesome actor but it gets pretty annoying seeing him in every god damn movie, it kind of ruins the movies.


What do you guys think? Too much Will Smith or not?

They are all fantastic actors (well maybe not Carey but I like him :p)! You should be shot for implying Depp and Hanks should stop acting!
 
Meh, nothing against Will Smith.

Now Christian Bale, there's a guy whos name seems to appear in every movie :O Not that I have anything against it though, he's an awesome actor.

The last film that I saw Will Smith in was I Am Legend and that was weeks ago.

As for Johnny Depp, he's been in a so many movies it's crazy.

I watched all three Pirate movies last week, watched Nightmare on Elm Street and last night and forgot Depp was in it.
Watched Platoon this morning and didn't realize Depp was in it until I saw his name in the opening credits.
Watched Edward Scissorhands a few hours ago.

I love Will Smith... ever since my love affair with Fresh Prince.

I hope he stars in many more movies, as I feel he's a great actor, and even when he's not necessarily that great, he's one of those actors that exudes a lot of charisma and just his name association makes me want to watch something. Very, VERY few actors have that kind of effect on me.

Will Smith is a great actor. Although it is a bit contradictory that he doesn't cuss in his songs yet he drop hundreds of F bombs in his movies.

It's not contradictory. Will smith writes his lyrics for his music, and he chooses to do a rapping style that is completely apart from the gangster rap shit that we hear today. His form of rapping conveys more style, meaning and contains much more humor and potential for a message to be sent across. He probably feels that swearing isn't an essential element of rap, and it shouldn't be... even though most rap does contain profanity, and heavy usage of it.

Will Smith on the other hand, typically doesn't write his lines for the movies he stars in... this is all decided by the script and he's merely a participant in another persons vision. A huge part, but still it's not often his script, so... he just does what is asked of him as an actor.

He is an amazing actor to say the least. Fresh Prince is amazing. Nearly every movie he has been in he was damn well at it. No matter how "shitty" the movie, he has played the role perfectly. Will Smith is God-like.

Also, the BTTF episode of Family Guy is on. To those who know me best, I adore all 3 BTTF movies, and I can't get enough of this episode. Too bad it just ended as I finished typing this.

Also, if any of you bad mouth Big Willy Styles, you shall be banned from life. :|
