I may or may not finish this one, because I'm not sure if I like how it is turning out... but here is my Mitsubishi Eclipse model so far (no interior, bottom, or tail fin at the moment):

hmmmm, i would comment. But there isn;t much to comment on......

Looks alright i supose.

I find in criting car models that a wireframe is the most important thing ;) show me that, and i'll crit :)

you should model high poly first, then low poly ...but then again it might be the other way around ;)

normal mapping ownz me..

the car looks good so far.

The shape looks very good, but we can't really critique it without a wireframe and a polycount.

SidewinderX143/spin: I'll show you the polycount and a wireframe when I finish the model and clean it up... or when I give up on it. As with all of my models, anyone that wants to can use it after I'm done.

x84D80Yx: I try to stay away from normal mapping unless there are lots of little things that shouldn't be done in the model and can't be done with a plain skin... and there usually isn't much like that on cars. If you used normal mapping on everything it would cause too much of a performance hit.

u should model it with doors that can open and close and a better render perhaps a shellac material or some gi.

I am modeling it with doors that can open and close... that's why there is a big gap in the side of the car.

I also try not to spend too much time on a WIP render.
