Woman fined for asking theatre patron to turn off cell phone

Say there were two people in a theater. One of them was a guy who was texting during the movie. The other was a woman who tapped him on the shoulder and told him to knock it off. The guy made a scene, screaming at her and storming out of the theater (which never would’ve happened at the Alamo Drafthouse). Now, out of the two, which one of them do you think was levied a $260 fine? If you answered the lady, congratulations, you are the state of Texas

Uh, what? They said it to show how ridiculous a claim it was that a woman her size could injure a man his size by touching him with her finger. Despite not really being relevant (a woman her size COULD hurt someone his size, afterall) its still not trying to emasculate him, but rather trying to prove a stupid point. Also, there's only one asshole in this story, and its the loud fatass who sued a person for telling him to be quiet in a movie theater.

His story ****ing pisses me offi.

He was in an important text, not just any old text.
He was holding the phone so close to his chest that he could barely see the screen, so obviously other people would have an even harder time, and this makes the guy obviously very courteous.
He couldn't make out her voice, so when he turned for their first meeting he couldn't have been in an angry/bad/disgruntled mood. Therefore any negativity on her part wasn't instigated by him!
This crazy ass bitch just out of nowhere hits this courteous guy, during an important text, who's in a pleasant mood, and just trying to better understand what a fellow movie patron was saying!
His neck was in this perfect position for whiplash, so not only was he emotionally assaulted but physically as well!! oh noes!

That's a god damn crafted response if I ever read one, I ****ing want to burn this man at the stake and eat his ashes just so I can shit them out and piss on them.


edit: not only does her story read like a more natural re-telling, but it also includes information which could be proven by talking with nearby people (the part about him saying ‘I am charging you with assault' before storming out). Really nowhere in his response does he include details which could be corroborated by nearby people, which is very suspicious.
