You just proved my point (sorry i shouldnt have said it is illegal), i said that the professor who did that would be fired, they would be ratted out by students based on their grades, or their feelings toward the teachers ideas. You "countered" with another example of a teacher being fired. I was just telling Badger that we don't tolerate that kind of behaviour, just like where he's from.

The professor was fired because he refused to turn his course into a platform for a political agenda.

How does that prove your point? The only thing it proves it that the academic establishment doesn't tolerate impartiality. The people that you think should be firing these professors are the ones who are ensuring that they continue to use their influence as a platform for their political views.
 
This is no longer about the Democracy being spread by world powers.
