Heh, yeah everyone can relate. For me its my breath & throat. It's horrible when you wake up, whats that about?
I've no problem with getting out of bed early. The only thing that can possibly hinder my progress is when it's cold in my bedroom. That's the worst thing about waking up. I loathe low temperatures and the contrast between the warm, warm bed and the unforgiving cold outside the covers is enough to make me hesitate. But eventually I suck it up.
I had weird thoughts about having to "program" the clock. Can't even really explain it, it's weird. I always have half-awake dreams that are batshit insane about the last thing that kept me occupied the previous day.

Especially with thinking computer interfaces should work with real life when you're half dreaming.

Waking up is hell for me, cause I go to bed far too late. I used to put my alarm on the nightstand next to my bed. That didn't work well, I just turned it off. Then, I put it on my desk so I actually had to get out. That didn't work well either, I turned it off half-asleep and just jumped back in my bed. Now, I actually tape the switch, that sets the alarm to 'on', shut so I can't switch the clock off in an unconscious state and oversleep. So far, that's working reasonably well. But my sleepy-me is already adapting to that, I can now take the tape off in an onconscious state.. ;(
