I eat a lot of things I drop on the ground, and I don't really get sick from it.

EDIT:

I guess more specifically, if I drop something on my kitchen floor I'd eat it, not on a grassy field in the middle of town or anything LOL

It all depends on what kind of food it was and where I dropped it.

I once dropped a York peppermint pattie in a parking lot as a boy and I chased that sucker down. Like hell I'm not gonna eat one of those even if it did roll around in grease and oil on a blacktop.

If the food is solid, like a potato chip or a piece of solid candy, then yes. But only if it fell on the floor in my own house.

Considering my financial situation I whould eat an entire meal of the floor. Including soup. **** me im broke. Won't get money till the 25th.

So yeah, I whould eat of the ground.

When I bite into a York Pepperment Pattie, I get the sensation that my teeth are cracking from a chunk of asphalt!

Awww man, that sucks :(

What kinds of food do you buy when you do get money? Spend some money on things like lentils and rice and you can get a lot of calories and protein with a little amount of money. Lentils are low in calorie but packed with protein and cheap as shit. You don't have to presoak them either like beans.

It's weird because I generally eat stuff I dropped if it's a significant quantity of my meal or snack, yet I still don't like touching toilet handles. Figure that one out.

Uh, because one is just dropped food and the other is a lever that's been touched by people who've recently pissed or shat.

and the floor is what the bottom of people's shoes touch after they leave the bathroom.

You have a point. :x

But really I would only do it in my own home or a family members home. Not some public place where there is lots of strange shoe traffic.

ya, a place like the cinema is a definite never but my apartment is usually game.

God damn right. MMMMMMM food.

I mean, if it's a juicy piece of meat, and it falls on the floor, nah..there's probably hair and shit all over it. But like an M&M or something? Shit yea.

Yes I'll eat it unless it falls in something disgusting or is wet and falls on a really dirty surface. I have no problem with germs though for the most part. People need to get a sense of perspective, eating it off the ground is no different than touching the ground and then eating the food without first washing your hands.

Yeah I should do that. I don't know the exact currency value, but im guessing i spend about 15-20 dollars on food a day. Just not these days, since I have like $0.01 left. Im not kidding. Times are hard. But I'll eat like a king come Thursday.

Pasta. Cheap as ****, all you need is some butter and parmesean and you're good to go. If I gorge myself on pasta all day I still wouldn't end up spending more than $3 or $4.

Yeah I could probably cut back on food some. But it's to late for that now.

Live and learn I guess. Hopefully Shit like this won't happen again. Me being shit poor and all.

Unless your floors are ****ing disgusting, I have no qualms about eating from the floor.

Totally. Not to mention that the floor and urinal flushers aren't the only source of germs in the universe.

Think about the supermarket, and who trots around them.

Kids.

Kids? Dirty as ****.

The amount of bacteria on your hands usually negates something being dropped on a relatively clean floor.

didnt read this thread but...

at home where I know the floors are cleaned daily, yes
some where like school or a restaurant, hell no

If I drop something on the floor I give it to someone else to eat without telling them I dropped it. I love to share :)

I have done this.

Depends on the floor or what the food item is, if its something that can get hairs stuck to it then i wouldnt.

Absolutely. Except for things like jam on toast and pizza.

Yes :D I'm not exactly a stickler for hygiene. I love food and I'm clumsy, so it's inevitable.

once it's down, it's down. besides, most of the food that falls on the floor is small shit you eat in large quantities (grapes, popcorn, etc) so its not like you're taking a loss.
