and the closed beta has *officially* ended, so this is my last chance to train up my paladin before he is inevitably deleted ;( but after that its the open beta, and then after that its the full game. not long now

Heres my charater, I also have 2 others, NE druid and a human palidin. This is just my highest level one. There both female but I had a male dwarf has the female one looks SO stupid. More like a short human or tall gnome then a female dwarf. Infact most females look stupid in this game, mostly so for tauren. Shame.

No only to US, NZ, and Australia. The reason is they want to test the North American servers only... yeah I know, someone at Blizzard slept through geography lessons. But FP doesn't check so you can try, some people got their keys in a matter of hours some had to wait over twenty hours, and others like me are still waiting.

hey, has anyone here actually downloaded the client? if so, could they send me the .exe file over msn? its just that the only difference between the "new" client and the old one is the .exe file, so i can continue playing if i just use the new .exe file with the old client.

the problem is that i wont be able to DL any patches, but i can just download the new client while im playing with all of you guys

my email is [email protected] could someone who has the .exe send it to me over msn? (i think hotmail doesnt allow you to send .exe files :/ )

how about i just give you 1 or 2 gold, which is the equivalent of 100 - 200 silver? would that do? i would gove you more but im giving everyone some money, and i only have 20 gold and im saving up for a huge sword i have my eye on.

and i can craft you anything you want, the only trouble is A) i dont have a very wide variation of things to craft and B) you'll be starting at a low level, so youll have to level up before i can get you anything above - average.

anyone have a fileplanet link? i doubt it would makie any difference, as you need to be a subscriber to use the servers, but its worth a try. the thing is the .exe will only work untill a patch is released ;(

I think you misunderstand... it's YOU who can create characters on the other servers now. We can't create characters on your server... now do as I said and make one on PvP Test 6 dammit!

nothing happent directly, its just that you start to get all the really, REALLY hard quests, and the amount of money you can get really rockets. there is such a broad range of items to buy and your choices are really diverse. rather than staying in firm alliance territory, i chose to travel to the night elf lands when i was level 22. fighting on the boarders of alliance and horde territorry changed me... i came back not only tougher, but i came back as a level 26 hero and coming back to stormwind was completely diffferent. although i had only spent a week with the elves, it felt like an eternity. its good to be back though.

probally the MAIN difference though, is rather than levels just being step stones to get wehre you want to go, they suddenly become huge mountains that take days to climb, with the rewards becoming more distant. everything starts to blur into one and the choices you make start to become less obvious. suddenly the game slows down to a crawl... it becomes incredibly annoying doing a quest you thought was hard, but only gives you 200 EXP in return. sure,with higher levels you can take on more enemies, but you advance a lot slower.

say you spend 2 hours per day playing WoW. so in a 30 day month, that's 60 hours of gameplay right?

at $15 per month, each hour of gameplay is costing you $0.25.

but..if you decide to play for an extra hour a day, so that's 90 hours in a month, it works out to $0.16 per hours of gameplay.

so essentially, the more you play, the cheaper it gets


as to what you're paying for, they'll constantly update the game, release patches etc. i haven't a clue about expansion packs, but for something as sweet as WoW i'd gladly pay a reasonable price for a decent expansion pack.
