WOW *final* stress test

Man, close call on which MMORPG to buy....forget about everquest2, WoW seems a lot more user friendly and fun (plus PVP!)....how come you guys didnt persuade me sooner? hehe.

Well i probally be playing a tauren hunter, anyone know what type of animals are around Thunderbluff? cause it seems to be out in the middle of flat land and i havent seen any buffalo that i can tame or anything :p

yeah i remeber you, shuzer and maybe some other talking about how WoW is so awsome...but EQ2's wide range of classes and quests just dont seem as fun for some reason anymore. I cant waiting to start playing WoW (hopefully i can play some of the open beta).
 
I never got into an EQ2 beta, and I wont buy it unless I can just buy a key online and download the client. Which I doubt. I love wow and will be buying that. Paying out 50 quid to import EQ2 just to TRY it out would be abit of a money waste (unless I liked it).

But fileplanet is to busy for me to even load up the WoW sign up page :( I hope that i can still get a key even though im in europe!! :angry:
 
So how did anyone in the UK get past the sign up screen/get a key for previous WoW beta's?

Did you enter an american address from an american you know? or did you enter a UK address??? obviously they cant check where every single persons IP is coming from....
 
Aaaaaah! I got in and typed out my info and sent it off! My cry of joy was shortly cut off by an error message reading my info didn't get sent. :mad:
 
w00t i am allready in. i laugh at you poeple who have to get a key :)

but the trouble is i have mock exams soon so i wont be playing it at all. dammit.

I fear how slow these fileplanet download servers will be going now though :( 84 minutes waiting time for the one i chose. Could of chosen the west coast one at 52 minutes but it will probably take longer as its even further away from me?
 
and im going to somewhere without internet for a week, i wonder if open beta still goes when i return :/
 
Absolute crap. I constantly went in and sent at least 7 requests... each time getting an error. Now I have got the message that the signups are closed... utter BS.
 
I got my key hahahahha suckers

I guess you just arn't fast enough. BOOM SHACKA LAKKA LAKKA!

I read somewhere that when fileplanet run out of keys wow website will be giving out more.

I've got this screen (check attachment) on the waiting bit? does anyone else think that its not working? I just wanna get the download started asap its 11bastardPM and i plan on going bed :(
 
I have a key and all... signup.worldofwarcraft.com won't load though. ****.
 
Im waiting in line till the end then it will say network error PRESS F5 to reload so i do that and it just keeps saying that. ;( tried all the servers and same shit each time. Whats wrong anyone? Anyone else got a problem with fileplanet atm?

If anyone see's a torrent for this particular download anywhere on any website plz PM it me. Fileplanet sucks so badly.
 
My ass was just under the wire too. I was refreshing the forums like every 3 sec and BAM!!! ran my digital arse to fileplanet and got a key on the second try. I had to turn off my virus/firewall/windows firewall/reset my router asap.

hit back and refreshed then BAM. Got my key. Just as people started to whine that it wasn't working. 2 min later there was no keys left. I could have taken a crap and missed it all. Now I wait for the site to get ready to make accounts.

Makes me mad because I pre-downloaded the client to get a head start. Now all these whiney losers caught up again. what ever.
 
where did you pre-download the client from? PM me pretty plz.

Edit/ I thought you have to download the new client?? Can anyone confirm this?? Im well annoyed that i even thought fileplanet would work. At least i got a key though even though i'll probably end up giving it away :angry:
 
I got my client from the Blizzard downloader last week. ;)

Where did you get that from?

I had it on my PC about a week ago because i can remember downloading it for no apparent reason but i deleted it.
 
Why are you guys even trying to get keys from FP? the key is BLIZRD-BETA-ONLINE-OPEN-PUBLIC
