I suspect it's like the S in Xbox Controller S. It doesn't really stand for anything.

Yeah, they can still RRoD and E74, but your ring of light will always be green!

My reserved slim finally arrived today at Gamestop. After trading in my old console I only paid $150 for it. I needed the extra hard drive space and was about to buy a wireless adapter for $90. This turned out to be a great deal instead.

The only thing that makes me angry is how much dust this thing attracts. It's not only glossy but very stick-like. Almost like a magnet.
