that's not the only reason, It's just the 1st thing to come to mind. but I think it was you deathmaster who said that it makes game graphics really bad, is this true? cos' I found a good new PC that I may get thats vista, the woman in the shop said that it dosent matter what OS you are as long as you have a good graphics card? is this true?

Yes, it's true. and Vista won't make your games any badder that they are on XP.

Check out toms hardware for game comparisons.

New hardware now runs games at least on a par with xp, thanks to the new driver system (or something).

Anyways, there's no advantage to having xp unless you have a machine which cant run vista - in which case enjoy playing solitaire.
