Your most memorable scene in any video game? [SPOILERS, duh]

After looking at the thread title of the one in the Bioshock section, I figured we might as well put one up for any game.

Mine would have to be in Starcraft, when Kerrigan starts to get over-run by the Zerg, and she starts talking about how she needed immediate evac, and Mengsk just takes off, and Raynor gets very pissed off. Always going to be the pinnacle of story/acting in a video game, to me. I'll never forget this scene.

When I was fighting that thing and it started mind raeping me.

I know it's a repeat for all, but getting a hold of the master sword in OoT blew me away. Brilliant.

One of my strongest memories would probably be at the end of Half-Life 2: Episode Two when the Advisors break into the hangar of the chopper Gordon, Alyx, and Eli were headed to. They pin all of us down and take Eli up. He knew what was coming and (this part was devastating to me) had to tell Alyx to close her eyes. His own daughter saw the gruesome act. And the game ended with Alyx crying over her father's body. It was all so unexpected. I'll be honest, I cried. And you'd have to have a heart of stone to not at least cry inside. It was a sad ending but a good way to shock the players and hang you off of a cliff, so to speak.

The Sex Scene in Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy....


....really, it was the last thing that I thought could of happened. They could of at least made it look like she was enjoying being a necrophiliac
 
Not the most merorable but pretty good up there. In Half-Life the part where you use the tank cannon to blow open the door. My Mother tried to figure it out for at least 20 mins before going to vacum the floor. 5 mins later, I come running out yelling. And I was about 4-5 years old at the time.

The final part of deus ex is probably the most memorable part in video games for me.

It REALLY shocked me because I liked her.
That scene made me do the 10th terran mission with a lot of anger, that was cool. First time I felt like that in a game. It never happened anymore.

In the end, I liked her even more as a Zerg :p
 
Tales of Symphonia. Long time since i played it but i remember it being emotional and having great cut scenes.
 
Walking out into the courtyard and seeing the Citadel for the first time would be the most memorable for me, or Eli's death, even though I expected it, it was so powerful.
 
For some reason, I always loved the aftermath of the final mission of GTA:VC.
 
In Deus ex, my second play through when I actually saved Paul. I was so stoked because I thought it was inevitable that he would be caught/killed.
 
Not really a scene, but when I first realized I could destroy anything in Mercenaries. I think I destroyed a bridge or something.

I have to say the 'level' of COD4 where one 'plays' as Yasir Al-Fulani. It was a captivating way of showing the country's descent into chaos, as well as living the spark that started it all.
 
Most of COD4 is memorable.

Chernobyl or ac130 missions man oh man what a mind ****.
 
Running towards a house for supplies, here comes a Strider that just blows it off the face of the earth, just as I was gonna enter.
 
The Part in Rayman 2, where I got to free Globox (The big blue toad). That was my first ever 3d game and probably my most memorable.
 
Hmm...

One thing that always sticks with me is something from Tomb Raider 2, probably cause it was one of my first 3D games when I first got a Playstation. At the end of the first level there's a huge pit you need to zipline across to finish, and obviously you'd always die if you dropped down. Anyway one time I actually found a way to get down there without dying, and... there were F*CKING T-REXES IN THE PIT. D: D: D: D:

Seriously though, what the hell? And they weren't anywhere else in the game...

Oh, god... Rayman 2... it was so good. Good times.
 
One of my most memorable was the train ride in the first Half Life and then when you crawl out of the mesa to see the large canyon and the jet fly by.
 
The end of Beyond Good and Evil.
The end of Freespace 2.
 
Addition:

Assault on Stalingrad, defending Pegasus Bridge, defending Pavlov Hotel on Call of Duty.

Assault on Pointe Du Hoc and assault on Hill 400 with the 2nd Ranger Battalion on Call of Duty 2.

The sniper mission and the ending of Call of Duty 4 as well

Moving into the final city as the American forces, and then moving into enemy territory to rescue the downed pilot and the bomb explodes as you are flying away.

All kinds of epic.
 
The CoD4 scene Shift mentioned.

Specifically, when you wake up after the crash. I was thinking the game was going to have you climb out of the chopper and pick up a machinegun to go and kill... erm, I'm not sure whom, exactly, but instead you got to crawl to the exit and then die. Rather touching, as FPSs go.

Killing Zakhaev at the end was also great, but in a different, "&!&% YES!" way. Especially after seeing him shooting your squadmates.
 
End of CoD4

when the SAS soldier picks you up, turn your head to see another soldier trying to beat life back into Griggs
