I'd say the best ones at the moment are Gears of War and Splinter Cell. And probably COD3 as well, assuming it got released today. Or yesterday, whenever

GOW is definitely the most popular right now (possibly aside from Halo 2), I'd recommend it, especially since it's better than Splinter Cell.

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat is a great online game. Only housing 24 players (I say 'only' as the PC version is like, what, 64 or something?) but it's still real good fun. It is more arcadey than the PC version, but there is no room for running around gung-ho in the style of arcade as in Halo 2. Can get very tactical sometimes.

Good, big maps with a wide range of vehicles (light attack like Humvees and vans, medium like the Bradley Linebacker and assorted other 30 mils, heavy stuff like the Abrams tank and other 120's, then boats, choppers like the Apache, Little Bird, Black Hawk and... all the rest, whatever they are called. Hind-D, etc.) and good options for player classes. The player classes are like BF2142, where alot of things are combinded together, like the medic is also the support gunner, and the engineer is the anti-tank. Very fun game. I play it every night on my vanilla X-Box, which is always a great time, but I really want it for the 360 because a) thats where my freinds will play it later on and b) everything looks nicer.

Is the multiplayer good? I've recently come into some money, and I'm trying to rebuild my 360 library after trading in a bunch of games that I never played... If the MP is anything like a cross between COD2 and Battlefield 1942, then I'll just go out and get it within the hour.

This weekend I am trading my Xbox with my mate for his 20gb Creative MP3 player as I'm getting a 360 in two weeks time. This deal works best as Xbox's don't go for all that much and Creative 20g's are quite expensive. Annnnyway, just last week my Live Account renewed itself for another month and I'm wondering how I go about getting it to my 360. A freind says I delete it from my Xbox harddrive now before giving it away, then I can retrieve it from the Internet using credit card details and stuff and succesfully have it back again, for my 360, and with no money spent. I just want to verify if this is what to do.
