Something is good. But i'm just feeling overexposed right now. I mean we've gone through this all before last year with the trailers and E3 hoo-hah.

My emotion has gone from "OMG TEH SEX" (last year) to "Just hurry tfu and release it please!!!"

Though i may be OMG TEH SEXING if the new demo vids are good....

From what I've seen (that is, still images, nothing moving yet) its definitely better paralled towards last years teaser rather than actual game footage (well, you know what I mean. Singular, instead of bundled). I still want to see the thing though; can't make Varsity's link work.
 
Well, the first part is stil images just showing gordon, the rest is video, quite good, but a little rushed i thought.

The water looks awesome. Everything in the game suggests the graphics can STILL compete with the other games coming out like STALKER and Doom 3, except for the shadows bit that someone else mentioned

huh, ur right. it is 640x356. the borders from ign are missing, but the video itself has the same size :)
 
Whoa. Some parts of it look just like the original half-life. /me nods to helicopter in mountain level. That mountain looks really low poly (like 10 quads), the train level looked really flat and low-detail (with those guys with briefcases) and the animations on the characters there weren't exactly convincing. I would've thought they would have an animation for pivoting people (instead of just rotating them), that's not exactly a new thing, obviously not used there though. Just putting things into perspective here! :p I'm left wondering if it's running in low detail or something, though maybe i'm influenced by the bad resolution of the video. :D Other parts looked pretty good, though. Never underestimate the effects of volumetric lighting. ;)
 
BTW, what do you think the guy is saying around 0:00:26 of the video?

It sounds something like "The h4 could inflict a fatal injury to our citizens\services" or something like that.
 
Yes video is not inspiring, hoping video at E3 booths will be better, any case new Zelda already steal the show with amazing teaser ;)

I havn't watched it yet but I thought I would comment on the fact that I'm on page 8 right now. At the rate people are responding to this I will never get to the last page lol
 
Forgot to mention that I have it on default number of post per page. Also when I started reading there were 5 pages -_-

lol that would be nice,, I heard someone say.. ' it looks like HL1 too much'.. sorry but thats the most newbish coment eva, havnt valve done that on purpose to keep the feel of the game that we enjoyed so much. and continue the story in similar style. Yes it does look like HL in many ways, but why make that out as a bad thing... you know its only the iceing on the cake, as the gameplay is gonna rule :p

I'm sure you're joking, but I severely doubt it. You'll notice that the ESRB rating on the boxes is still RP (Rating Pending). The game can't be released in that state.

P.S. Just noticed I'm a bullsquid. Three cheers for me! :)
