You just typed gibberish then. Either that or made your own obscure code, which means nothing to anyone other than you, which is the same thing.

Or you're a stupid. Come on, that's like the most well-known code ever!

OOPS.

"Frr, Cv vf abg n fghcvq. :Q"
A glittering thong.

Sorry for that spam, ok now to talking!
LET ME PLAY ZOMBIE MASTER!

You know.. There are regional english accents.. that might be confusing you.
I've heard all if not most regional English accents (something to do with living in the South East, having family in the Westcountry and going to a big university in the North which attracts people from all over the country), that isn't one of them. I'd really like to know what accent it's supposed to be. I think it's quite arrogant of you to dismiss criticism which is aimed to improve the accent by highlighting it's few faults.

I find it really difficult to understand. If it's an American character, get an American voice actor. If it's an English character, get an English voice actor. If it's one of those two cases and it's simply not possible or feasible to do this and you have to make a comprimise, which nobody can complain about, why complain when someone mentions specific ways of improving it?

Perhaps the main character is an American who's had a larynx transplant taken from an english corpse, and the larynx has come to life and is exerting its influence on Mr. Swan's accent. If we knew the nationality of the character we might know better, but I can only base my opinions on what has been given.

It's not "supposed to be" any specific accent. It is the accent of the voice actor. We love it.

It doesn't have any "faults" - it's a natural accent.

Where's the voice actor or the Tony Swan character from?

My personal opinion is that I find it distracting and foreseeably detracting from the gameplay. But you don't need to react to that since there's nothing to rebel against. It's an opinion which is personal and I'm sure I'm an isolated case among many who have nothing to complain about. I'll keep my comments to myself.

I was about to say, isn't it ever so slightly arrogant of you to assume the actor is faking his accent?

How do you see it "foreseeably detracting from the gameplay"?

You do also appreciate that accents can have different elements right? If someone has spent a lot of time in a certain country for example, they will start to take on characteristics of the local accent, leading to a hybrid.

Also, I suggest listening closer to the recording, particularly the word "restaurants". If you can't spot the eastern European slant there, you might as well give up analysing accents right now.

DUDE! CHILL!

ITS AN ACCENT. OH GEE.

Sounds natural. Must be one you havn't heard before. Cause, you know, the world is pretty big. You know. Like, big.

I understand this perfectly, what I want to know is: if this is true in ZM, are we talking about the voice actor, or the character, or both?

Let me put this another way - there's no voice acting in ZM itself.

Note the word 'acting'. Because we recorded the screams of people who were actually being chased by animated corpses.

ZM = Multiplayer (AFAIK) only.

I just want to take this time to say like many other people do, that zombie master gets me hot in the pants. That is all.

This thread wants to make me go play it somemore. Even if I'm entirely on my own.

Yeah, if it was singleplayer you would have to be the ZM (Unless someone codes some kind of ZM Bot) against AI humans, so pretty much controlled bots (zombies) against uncontrolled bots (humans).

Quite pointless really.

I dont really know what zombie master is, could you give me a description of the mod.

I think that was my problem. I was very excited because I knew that it's an experienced team behind it, and the "non media releases" got me very excited, but since there's nothing on the site saying anything definitive and I could not be bothered to trudge through the recently resurrected ZM thread, it was fairly obscure.

Maybe add some basic info to your sigs, such as mentioning the fact that it's Multiplayer. Hell I don't even know if it's co-op or team deathmatch.

Alright. You and your teammates are under siege by zombies. These zombies are controlled by the Zombie Master, who has a top down view of the "battlefield". You can barricade yourselves in houses, but if the zombies get you there, you're dead meat faster than you can say "frilly lingerie". And ummm, that's right about everything they told us :p

Multiplayer. RTS. FPS. Hybrid. Zombies. Zombies. Zombies.

And the zombies this "Master" controls are not real people I take it? So basically its Team 1 vs. Zombies/Master

That seems cool if thats correct.
