as long as you log into your own steam account, you can play your copy of hl2 anywhere....including a mates computer. The only thing is though, is that the same steam account cannot be active on two different computers at the same time

I have found a few commands which greatly improve Cs source and my framerate etc....but when i try and put them all into my "launch options" it doesnt do them all, particularly "cl_smooth 0" which gives the greatest performance boost for me. Anyone else get this problem and know a fix? ps...

nope, i cant see one bit of difference strange commands: mat_normalmap (says no cheats are allowed if u try 2 enable it) Mat_normal (ditto) Mat_norenderer (if set to one completely messes and freezes the game up.)

i keep my finger on the quicksave button and press it as many times as i can until something happens in the game. When something does start to happen, i switch my finger to the quickload button, and load as soon as i take a hit or use any ammo.
