Can anyone confirm how much extra downloading is needed after one purchases HL:2 over steam? For instance how big is HL:Source, DOD:Source and the rest of the back catalogue? (sorry if this has been posted) :x

ok i left it going all night.... guess what.. stopped at 69%

well i took out "base source shared models.gcf" and it resumed at 58%... i just hope it doesn't stop on 69% again or i will have just wasted a hell of alot of downloading.

anyone in particular?

Still having preload problems.. :flame: it is stuck on 69% and won't budge!! i have tryed restarting about a million times. Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

well i just got my copy of the aussie mag PC GAMES ADDICT, so i beleive it is the first australian mag to review HL2. it got 96% and they rekon the release date will be november 5th. does anyone know if this is the same review as PC GAMER (UK)? i think they might actually be the same mag with...

Im sorry but i think you are wrong.. i specifically remember HL being published as a build on the Quake 2 engine (heavily modified if i remember correctly) it makes sense.

Yeah but that would pobably only apply to those with silver+ packages would it not? (Half-life 1: Source)
