I have sdram and I want to check if my mobo supports DDR, what software do I need to check?

anybody notice that you cant go through walls anymore? I was WTF now I have to go through all the doorways to go somewhere. but its okay...... anybody like/dislike?

I have pretty much the same setup.. and I run CS with about 40-60 frames per second. I think its your celeron processor, I heard that they suck for games, you should really get a new one like a pentium 4 or an AMD 64.

yea, I think I have the same problem, one day I have good FPS and the next day crappy FPS.....

I figured out teh problem, it was mat_bumpmap 0 but wow it went from 18 fps in one spot all the way up to 60-70, just this one command made the difference. but still, I used to have bumpmap on without any problems until the new patch came along.

I was getting like 40 to 60 on dust and other maps, and after I got the new patch, now I get about 18 to 35 fps. what gives, I worked hard on tweaking the game and now its worse. Now im really pissed :angry:

after I downloaded the patch, I started a new game and the audio stuttering was nearly gone. I still get minor audio stuttering... Its bearable, but valve needs to finish fixing this problem.

hmm why are the antlions different in color... and i did never see some of those people in white.. am I missing something here?

I found a working fix for the audio stuttering in CS:Source and Halflife2. if you have a DX 9 card try this, type mat_dxlevel 60 ingame and then back to mat_dxlevel 90 and thats it, all the audio looping or whatever dissapears! hope this helps all of you, it worked for me :E

wow so many people have the same problem, I also stopped playing the game... its too annoying. I cant tell what the people are saying sometimes. its so sad that after waiting for so long this happens..

I thought that the game was soposed to be bug free....

I am also having this problem, it pisses me off and makes this game unplayable for me :flame: Edit: I get many stutters and the sound has like static or something.

also be sure to properly uninstall your old drivers, use regclean to take out the ATI registry and delete your ati drivers from your system 32 folder after you uninstalled your drivers from the control panel. Edit: for a more details go here...

I run this game at 1280 by 1024, this is the only resolution I could run at because I have a flat panel. I also have textures on high with 2 AA and 2AF and get around 30 to 70 everywhere. r_waterreflections 0 and r_waterrefraction 0 this really helps by alot, I went from 28 FPS in the stress...

turning what down? water reflections? texture detail? if so, yes I tried water its at simple reflections and textures are at medium. but still didnt solve the problem.
