On ATI's homepage, you are able to buy the 9800xt 256mb...there is also a graphic of the ATi-made board in its box (looks like the 9800box, but w/ flames in background). want the 128mb version, and I don't want to wait for it to come in the mail. Since ati is selling it on their site, I guess...

THe 9800xt 256mb is available for purchase on ati.com...possibly in stores this week/early next?

I think the 9800xt will be out around the middle of october, just in time for Max Payne 2 and XIII. Half-Life 2 will probably be here by late November. Since ATi was paid to have all tis HL2 bundle stuff, we'll likely get a voucher for the game. Or, maybe they'll wait for Loki to bundle HL2?

Wow, the same thing happened to me. Bought a new 5900 Ultra for 300, got an e-mail from e-bay saying he was a fraud, etc. I got it cleared up now, but just like this poster, I've realized I should buy the Radeon anyway. Looks like we were part of the same scam. Ah well, at least it worked out...
