HL:Source multiplayer doesnt mean anything @ this point. The multiplayer option on the main menu also doesnt mean too much. It could mean anything.

That, the fact that CS:S is being used to test HL2 & the source engine, the fact that physics are very limited in multiplayer, the fact valve has said nothing about HL2's multiplayer other than CS:S all is really adding up. CS:S is probably HL2's only MP.

Valve deserves our respect. They've put more than you know into this game, and leave it to just a few ****holes to leak the game, exploit the script, try to ruin it for the rest of us. Valve is trying to make this game as great as it can be, hell, they're probably working 6 or 7 days a week on...

it's already been stated CounterStrike: Source is the official and only multiplayer mode shipping with Half Life 2. CS:S comes with all versions of half life 2. Not just the CE.. bottom line: CS:S = HL2 Multiplayer :thumbs:
