6800GT is better than the X800pro, but the 6800 ultra is just below the X800 XT (pci at least), but really it wont make a diff. They're both good. But if you choosing between the 68000gt and x800 pro then go 6800 gt. Isnt it a little bit cheaper too? Plus you can OC it well.

Well I have ALMOST the exact same config except my gfx card is 64mb. Other than that its the exact same type speed and crap. In CS:S beta I got around 40 fps at 1024x768 2X AA settings on high, which amazed me. It might not run as well on other maps though, I havnt played the full version yet.

yeah, I agree. Valve probably isnt allowed to tell it for less than vivendi or else vivendi will be REALLY pissed b/c so many people would buy it from steam instead of VU and then they would be making less profits. More of the same problem.
