Well I found overclocking the FSB to 210 works a treat. This pushed my CPU to 2.31Ghz. However, don't push it any higher because I tried 215 and it crashed the game.
As for your BSOD errors, I have absolutely no idea whats going on.

Had problems with HL2 and its frame rates. I'm using XP3200, RadX800XT, 1Gb RAM.
Anyhow, why did I not think of overclocking the FSB?
