I was planning on getting steam and at least half life 1 for PC cos i don't have a PS2 unless its in the bargain bin a Game cos it looks amazing and theres only so much you can get from wikipedia but youd have to play all those games before you played HL2 according to you and I don't have that...

I think in older games it was too hard to make characters speak but now it is maybe they all should speak like in assassin's creed

Not to state the obvious but the PS3 is a bit of a let down with everything and even the best game ever (maybe) is crap on it. I'm talking about The Orange Box not just Half Life 2. I have a 360 by the way so I'm biased
