Hey everybody!
I'm now playing HL2 for the third time and has just been to Dr Kleiners lab, wich left me with a question this time. You know when Gordon is about to go into the teleporter room, dr Kleiner opens the door by moving on a photograph hanging on the wall, then he turns left and...
I've just emailed them and explained that what we don't know doesn't exists ;) hopefully they'll remove the date and just type "fall/winter 2005" or something

this is taken from a swedish online gamestore, and according to this site Aftermath will be released the 15th of november. But we haven't heard a certain date from Valve yet, and we should be the first to know right?
Must be...
I rather wait a little longer and have a game without buggs. In HL2 we all know they released it before it was really bugg-tested, just to please the fans. And sure, we got the game but we also got some really enoying problems. So as I said, I rather wait to later for something really good than...
The very first game I played was Doom 3 and HL2, so every game after that feels kinda crappy. Although I must say I was pretty scared when I played the FEAR demo, I'm sure that game's gonna be a hell lot more scarier than Doom 3.
But you're right, HL2 is just too realistic, we can't compare...
true true, but it would be nice to see things that where there from the beginning but where cutted. We have all seen the game in it's finished glory, so it's not like we have to choose between the game or the beta version.
Does anyone know if it's possible to get the beta version? or did it...
commentaries? awesome! Yeah as you said, I will also play trough the game and then with the commentaries. Great to here what the developer have to say about it :)
For you who read todays newsletter from Valve, you where probably as happy as I was to see that they mentioned Lost Coast and Aftermath! Although I wonder what a "few weeks" mean in Valve-time hehe. A month, two? Seems like they've talked about "a few weeks" for some time now. But as they said...
in Raising the bar you can read that they where trying to get both a sci-fi feeling and a mature feeling to show that they where not just another shooting game. They looked at Half-Dead and a hundreds diffrent name but they chose half-life :)
Just finished playing hl2 for the second time, and I liked it even more now than the first time. Maybe because I could relax a little more this time and actually get myself into the story, the characters and so on. The first time I wanted to see and hear everything at the same time wich made it...
ahh that's the beauty of this forum, that fans like us (who other people might consider to be crazy) can talk about even the little things, like why did he said that and who was that person running and so on... appriciate it or leave :)
