I just checked the server status page and all bandwidth is accounted for with the servers on show.
The appearance and disappearance of the servers was banded about here, I dunno how I picked it up, sorry! :D
They have been slowly raising it, we were at 1Gbit at the rollover and we are now at 1.725Gbit, the beta phase was 2Gbit.
Then we have the missing servers, they apparently appeared then dissapeared and the only trace of them is in the increased total bandwidth.
Then there are servers 16-25...
He's just saying that it's a safe bet someone in the retail HL2 mass production chain is going to come forward eventually with solid proof of existence.
A point to consider, checking out VUGames's Corporate news page reveals that all the release statements (in the first page at the very least) are actually declaring the games available in the shops on the same day as the statement, you should not find a "gold" statement in there.
I'm saying...
Well said, that's my thought, they don't even have to talk about the game, they just have to communicate with it's fanbase.
If it is delayed, they'll only do more damage by keeping quiet, the sooner they admit that they've slipped, the soonerwe can all settle down and accept it.
As it is I...
Ok, the subtle hint didn't work.
Please stop spamming this thread, I had hoped for a sensible discussion about the events that unfolded during the beta rollover, not a mindless spamfest.
Thanks. :)
I decided this idea would be better served in here as the Steam forum is better for problems and skins, this is a discussion of the event.
If you remember, Valve trickled videos at us through the beta phase, it's pretty safe to assume that this was a reciprical thing in that we get hl2 media...
