well i guess if there were multiple offenses then a ban should be in place. but i thought there was a warning system here. i never know whats going on though
remember, just cause it'll last long on harder doesn't mean you'll have more fun. i'd have more fun with a shorter game and dying less than a longer game because i die more.
omg yeah, i would have loved if valve totally destroyed its worth and made it repetitive. how do you know me so well???
edit: and on a side note, they said they have a bible of the half-life world. so obviously they could have added more of their "story" if they chose to
guys, sure 19 hours isn't too shabby. the only reason why i'm complaining is because they've had FIVE years. and thats not including the entire EXTRA delay year
sure source was being worked on during a lot of that time. but its not like nothing else could be done parallel to source. level...
none of them mentioned the shadow problems because its not a big deal. it does not in any way make the game crappy. the game is not perfect, thats why it got a 96 and not a 100%
i believe two reviews both said 19 hours on normal. and at least one of them (i think pc gamer uk) said that he tried to explore every level to the fullest. i'll start finding quotes for you guys
Edit: This is from the PC Gameply Belevux (or whatever) Review Summary thread. "PCG played...
i mean i think call of duty was something like 20 hours. i got through with that game thinking, "woah, that game was awesome. but what the heck, i can't believe i'm done already"
Is it just me, or is anyone else here slightly disturbed by the games length: 19 hours on normal. The reviewer even said that he tried to explore all the nooks and crannies of every level. Don't get me wrong, I obviously know that its going to be the best game ever. But still, valve has had...
and on the same note, valve does owe us cs:source for free. they said hl2 would have a multiplayer, and cs:source is it. if they didnt' release cs:source for free it would be ridiculous. it would be like battlefield releasing their single player and multiplayer seperately.
really now guys. don't make it sound like you're getting cs:source extra. and that its more than they should get. valve has always said that hl2 has a multiplayer, so cs:source is necessary. could you imagine if valve released a huge game like hl2 with no multiplayer? That would be insane.
actually valve made it sound like sept 30 for sure. so i feel for this guy. they made it sound like sept 30 for sure until two weeks beforehand... yeah he probably should have waited till the game came out, but when someone tells you "everything is going as planned" like a month before the...
haha actually yes i really think that it "could" take them more than a month to get everything produced and copied. correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't that the case for condition zero? there is just no way i'm going to get my hopes up again for a valve release heh. I honest to god expect...
haha i dont' know why everyone just automatically thinks its going to be in october. think about it. i love the games valve makes, but its still valve. november sounds a lot more realistic than october. even if it goes gold tomorrow, november sounds more realistic
