Calm down guys. Seriously, if it's steam the thing won't work for 2 hours. Just wake up tommorow, it'll work properly. Seriously, my hl2 didn't work for 3 hours, but I didn't start crying like a baby instantly. That's what all of you are good at. Just have patience.

WoW is a mmporg, even the crappiest mmporg would be longer than HL2. It's totally riddiculous to compare a FPS with a mmporg! Anyway, I don't want either game to win Best PC GOTY. The only deservant IMO is Sid Mier's Pirates! - brilliant game (better than both of these).

December 31st is the tentative date for every long delayed game. Last year, HL2 and Doom 3 were also given 12/31/03 dates, becuase no one knew when they were coming.

Doom 3 has pretty ridiculous A.I. In fact, neither did HL2 or Halo 2 had mindblowing enemy A.I. Shame on all these developers! The A.I. in FEAR seems pretty good though, especially those things that hide and attack (in green). Although yeah, with games like Doom 3 and HL2 in the market...

Why does it make such a big difference? Gamespot's only complaints were the A.I., which was simplisitic earlier on in the game (horrible metrocops) but improved later on and a story that isn't bad, but only raises a hell lot of question and is confusing. In any case, they do acknowledge it...

I wish I could have contradicted that you used some tip or trick to untexture the place, but damn you are just too good a painter, eh? ;)
