Manhacks were a nuisance, till I figured out that the best way to pwn them was with the gravity gun.
The fast zombies were harder to kill than some of the metrocops, earlier on in the game. They are basically a nightmare if you had played the game on Hard, like me.
Wow. No point in voting I'll tell you the winners right now.

You can slap me, if I'm wrong.
Well, as neutrino said, the last quarter of the game is satisfying. Somewhere in the middle, HL2 get's lost with the pacing - but in the end it gives you a satisfying and enjoyable feeling.
Please, don't you try to urge a flamewar here. :hmph:
Anyway, I'd say the most dissapointing aspect of HL2 would be the A.I., for me. It was good, but not mindblowing or unbelieavble as they said.
I don't have a warez copy. I have a legitimate retail copy of the game, courtesy of Activision.
Also, I'm not the only one - many people who have the "actual, retail copy" are suffering from these bugs. Even some of the recently posted reviews state these bugs, so I'm not joshing.
The game doesn't actually have nudity (if you consider naked monsters with butt ugly tits as "hot"). You get to meet hookers, a hell lot of profanity. I think it's a bit overdone, the bad language seems "forced" in VTMB.
weird texture errors, texture clipping, and weird crashes. Also, the game is very badly optimized - I'm playing this game at 800 x 600 at high, and still the framerate drops down very often, the worst thing is, it doesn't even look half as good as HL2, most of the time. I have a 9800 pro, BTW...
I must say, this is the biggest let down this year.
This RPG was so ambitious, but unfortunately it's a big dissapointment.
I started playing VTMB, thinking that it has to surpass morrowind, but instead I find a game, riddled with more bugs than STEAM (that's saying something!) and the...
HL2's problem is that in between it get's lost. The starting is mindblowing, visually, asthetically and atmosphereically. Yet, in the middle, when the action kicks in, it get's too arcadey and "not that great". The airboat and vehicles bring in variety, but still it's a downhill, as compared to...
I remember when I showed my friend this game, who plays nothing but PS2 games, and he was like "OMG?!! is that a game??". He said he had never seen such crisp graphics ever before. He even thought that it still look better, even after I showed him Doom 3.
