i would expect the next generation of computer games or the generation after it too have realistic water physics as we are getting incredibly powerful computers now and realistic water can be rendered just not in real time. so its very close already.
of course we have already invented hand held weapons that can vapourise a target so we know EXACTLY what it looks like and can reproduce it! ... oh wait ive just woken up.
for an effect for a weapon which doesnt exist its damned good imo. you show me a weapon that can vapourise someone (A...
Additionally Incredible!:
I am analyzing your analysis of the analysis of the most minute details on a demo video of a product that is somewhere between an alpha and a beta stage!
INCREDIBLE :)
Ill say this only once as i speak for the majority here more then likely.
BE GREATFUL you CAN NITPICK over the direction of the eyes! or would you rather go back to the flat facial models with eyes painted onto the skin!
Jesus if you want uber realism go watch Toy Story or summit else CG...
im not sure if the barrel would explode. a bullet is an inert object if it hit the barrel without sparking the barrel and just passed straight through then its possible it might just puncture and spil the gas everywhere
i call it gas but im from the UK so its Petrol. :)
I wouldnt call em cannon fodder. personally I always saved em and put em in safe places.. of course the bombing scene toward the end of HL probably ment most of them died... I never really thought about it
you could have an earth quake in hl2 not sure if u could have cracks and stuff tho wouldnt that break the map! (map makers will know wot im talkin bout)

Soz Varsity but he doesnt, if you watch the E3 vids from last year (direct feed) IIRC you can hear the HEV bird voice saying "Welcome to the HEV mark 6" or something similar plus if you look at the layout of the screen its changed so it HAS to be a new suit.
nope. its not VALVe's fault that OE contained a security flaw. Its M$'s for not removing it. your missing the point.
simple fact is this ...
Valve was not negligent, they did what they could to keep it secure within RESONABLE margins.
ive no doubt Havok are checking there legal rights...
This i would expect to be covered in the contract signed by valve.
Remember something like this the supply of the code would have to prove valve was criminally negligent which CAUSED them to lose the code else wise its still the hacker that is the criminal as he had to by pass all valves...
