(google "Mickey Mouse Law" if you really care about this stuff)
In Canada it is legal because thier law is "life +50 years" and Orwell did in '49.
Like Ive always said, they shouldve handed customer relations off too Vivendi so people can listen to automated responses or be ignored. They couldve saved alot of hassle, and everyone would still act like whiney little pussies.
Personally, I get the feeling city 17 is only half the story...if that. The funny thing is, none of us have any idea how far removed City 17 is from the HL1 plot. For all we know it may be so well tied to HL1s plotline that we will be convinced there is no alternative, and that anything else...
I think level design is too important to a game like HL2 (or pretty much any game for that matter) Fully destructible terrain essentially negates any effort made by a designer to guide gameplay, restrict access or most other design considerations made to build story. I think "selective"...
Animated sprays in HL1 arent worth the effort, each frame adds to your total pixel size, so the more frames, the smaller the image. and scince they dont loop, they are stuck on the last frame before you realize it.
Imo, animated sprays could be neat, but most people are really tacky, and Id...
Id sneak into Gabes house, replace his shoes with the same kind, only 1 1/2 sizes too small. Flip all the doors in his house upside down and then disassemble his keyboard and rearrange the keys so that his homerow says GABESUCKZ.
too much vocabulary, not enough grammar.
Anyway...
DX2 will be top game if HL2 isnt out at the same time, think about it. HL2 is going to be the dominant game on the market when it comes out and everything else will get minimal notice. A delay gives DX2 a chance to shine for a while.
I dont want to read this entire thread, but I'm sure Im not the first to correct you...They DID NOT use a ****ing Gforce in the ATi booth. I dont understand why so many people on these forums seem to "remember" complete bullshit and every other dumb ass just takes it at face value and before you...
Every "tile" of a texture is split into a triangle, faces are split every 240 units during compile, and every brush face is split if smaller than 240 or the texture on its face. These are the restrictions of the engine that have annoyed map designers for 5 years...Have you ever mapped for HL?
OK, I just re-watched the vids and I see what your talking about. I thought all this nonsence was about traptown sequences. Also, iirc, Erik is the one who said that...Gabe presented the Gamespot vids, and Erik did the gamespy ones. I know the voices are different, unless Gabe got sick :P...
Show me where they said it...right now, everyone is running off unconfimed rumors. Noone can find where Gabe made that statement because he never did. Its a bit disturbing that you lose trust in someone becase some random noob says they said something they never did.
Seriously tho, many of...
why does it ask me to log in so I can reply in this forum?
Anyways, all this BS about the AI and links to this and that and not a single person can link us to Gabes actual statement about the AI being unscripted? Did he say it or what? I think not, I never read that. I dont think any of you...
