What makes you really want HL2... is it the story and singleplayer of the half-life series.... is it the multiplayer (ie CS:Source, HLDM, DoD:Source).. or is it the mods?

i will probably go to one class on tuesday just b/c attendance is required and its for points... which means I will lose out on one hour - which will be a good break anyway... assuming it will be released 12:01am Nov 16, I will get home from school monday round 3:30... and sleep till 11:30pm...

Homer... think of this this way... when HL2 comes out... it will most likely be $50-$60.... that means HL2 and CS:S... When DOD:S comes out it will most likely be $20-$30.... so if you bought HL2 and DOD:S retail... you get a range of $70-$90.. now the SILVER package costs $60... which is STILL...

Just b/c CS is the only INCLUDED multiplayer in HL2.. i doubt that will stick around long when the mod people get their hands on it :thumbs: I have no worries and I dont like CS either

I think the CE is also due to contain extra HL2 playable content.... that would make it (more) worthwhile for me to pay the extra amount, along with the stuff the CE is listed to contain - I aint preorderin till Gabe himself says exactly what the CE contains though

I THINK he means that they needed ESRB to rate the game, in which case they needed ESRB to see only the maps the game includes in order to make their rating, not custom maps which could have really jacked up the rating - ie they are done with content of the game and are only left to squash bugs...
