They never annouced it. They never even went GOLD yet.
The only possible way Valve could stay on track for the Holiday 2003 release is if they remove all the Online Multiplayer stuff from the game and just give us the Single Player game - WHICH IS FINE WITH ME.

Maybe the game should go GOLD first? You're nutz if you believe the game isn't pushed back until 2004. They have to change the source code and then spend months testing it and bug fixing, etc... They have to go through another whole testing cycle before the game is ready...

Agreed - if some of these HL2 websites would start pressing Valve for more information and answers, instead of accepting everything they do, or dont do, maybe we wouldn't have a community full of disgruntled fans.

Is CNN or Al Jazeera right or wrong when they show Osama Bin Ladin tapes that praise terrorists and have hidden messages in them? If it's wrong, why do they show the tapes?

With all the hits this site gets, I'm amazed there are no banner ads.
It will only strengthen their reputation if they went after the hacker and all the people who knowingly and wllingly downloaded stolen files. How would it hurt their reputation? IT'S THEIR GAME! YOU SHOULD PAY FOR IT!
