Gabe stated himself that the level designers had to work with an AMD 2.0ghz Duron with a gf4 ti 4600 so im guessing you should be fine if level designers got it to work
yea man heh, or once you get the 9800 XT dont open it and sell it on ebay as new, it will still sell a good amount of money then you can buy a new generation card :D
a pic of the game on low settings, medium, and high settings, and see how different it looks at a certain scene...
