ok in the end i wasn't really happy the full load temp was a bit to high so im now down to 2ghz so ive got a amd athlon xp 2000 overclocked to 2ghz :cheers: i get a idle of 49c which im sure you will all agree is fine and a full load of about 55c so thats ok to im still just testing it etc...

ok im back if i lower the v core setting so i get less power will that take away some of the heat?

i have an asus i can change my mhz frequency or can manually do it in my bios by setting v core etc how can i manually set it so that i can run at 2ghz what are the v core settings and fsb multiper or what ever lol any1 know where a guide is im at 52c idle
